You'll see a lot of folks talking about this game today.
Looks as if we need to add Lincecum to the list of other former Cy Young Winners who struggled/got rocked on Opening Day.

And there has also been a lot of blood...err...ink spilled talking about this game. Or better put, Kyle Farnsworth's "roll" in the game - here and here. Royals fans...God love 'em.

But we shall press on and focus...today, at least...on the positive.

Josh Beckett truly delivered on Tuesday. Against the defending AL Champs...yes, it happened in real life...he was dominant; allowing only five baserunners over seven innings and striking out 10. A tremendous way to kick off the season when compared to what most of the other "aces" have been doing this week.
